Simply Modern Weddings had it’s unofficial started back in 2003…only as a dream in Christina’s mind. She knew that in order to gain experience and respect in the industry she would need to get as much knowledge and training as possible. Christina received professional training from the Association of Certified Professional Consultants (ACPWC) and is an active member of their Southern CA chapter. She is also a member of the Orange County chapter of the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC). For a hands-on experience, she interned for over a year with one of the most well respected wedding planners in the LA/OC area. With these in-class and hands-on trainings, Christina felt it was finally time to step out and officially launch Simply Modern Weddings in the Summer of 2005.

Simply Modern Weddings is about creating a day that reflects you and your fiance. It’s about knowing that you can relax and enjoy this special moment in your lives, because we have your day under control. It’s about the brides that want to keep it: fresh. chic. simple.

I just wanted to commend you–and thank you–for such a GREAT wedding blog site! My best friend is getting married next Labor Day, so I’ve been spending a lot of time online helping her plan. From flowers to favors to dresses, and even little detail touches, I’ve googled everything wedding! But I love your different ideas and suggestions on here–the two that really popped out for me were the Brides Against Breast Cancer and the Blum Box post! I’m ALWAYS an advocate for breast cancer research, so I sent that along to my friend. And being green is so “in” these days…someone actually brought that into the wedding market! I love all your personal posts too–very friendly and inviting. I will be checking into your blog often to see your updates–and I’ve already sent the link to my best friend!

Hi! I totally love your style, but I live on the East coast and will be getting married in my hometown of NYC next year. Do you have any recommendations for planners with a style similar to yours in the NYC area?
